BACKPACK BLOWOUT

Items needed by Friday, Aug. 6

Saturday, Aug. 7, 9 a.m.-noon
Children from single mom families have a blast picking out new school supplies, new backpacks and new lunch boxes at this annual outreach event hosted by Lee's Summit Community Church.

You can help by donating new school items, gently worn clothes for moms and kids, or $25 to purchase gift certificates. (Gift certificates will be given to those who pre-register so they can purchase new school clothes and other needed items for fall.) Supplies and clothes can be dropped off at the Welcome Center.
