COMMUNITY SERVICE
There's a time to be on our knees, and a time to roll up our sleeves.
At LSCC, service to our community is a core value. Individuals, couples, families and small groups regularly express God's love to others through practical acts of service.
Service project opportunities
- Habitat for Humanity (helping build homes for people who put in a down payment of"sweat equity")
- Hillcrest Transitional Housing (LSCC has "adopted" an apartment that helps homeless families get back on their feet)
- LSCC's Kindness Outreach (monthly efforts in our community)
- LSCC's Care Ministry (home repair, moving assistance)
- LSCC's Single Moms Ministry (mentoring, friendship and special service activities)
- Summit Ridge Academy LSCC is a partner with this Lee's Summit alternative high school. We provide after-school tutors.
