Lee's Summit Community Church members have responded in timely, practical ways to help the people of Haiti.
More than $8,000 was donated for emergency food relief through the work of Grace Mission, a non-profit that serves the people of Haiti. As part of that effort, our Student Ministry designed shirts that were purchased to raise funds.
In addition, our Children's Ministry will assemble donated supplies and give them to Heart to Heart International, an Olathe, Kan.-based relief organization that will get them to people in need in Haiti.
We thank the Lee's Summit Community Church family for its timely and generous response to this need.
