MEMBERSHIP
Membership is the difference between observing and engaging at Lee's Summit Community Church. Our goal is for all of our members to be active stakeholders in the ministry and future of the church. Because membership is a commitment, we have a few simple yet important prerequisites:
Attend the Discover LSCC Membership Class After attending this class, each participant has an opportunity to sign a commitment to active involvement and to express agreement with our statement of faith.
Complete a membership interview This is a one-on-one opportunity to ask questions of a member of our staff. It also provides an opportunity for us to share ideas about how you could be involved in the ministry of the church.
Baptism In order to become a member, you must be baptized. Scripture tells us that this is the first step of obedience to Jesus Christ. If you have already been baptized of your own free will, then there is no need to be baptized a second time. If you'd like to learn more, we offer a baptism class each month for adults and children.
