COMEDIAN PROVIDES BREAK FROM ECONOMIC DOWNTURN

Lee’s Summit Community Church invites the community to take a break from the economic downturn with comedian Michael Jr. on Friday, April 3, at 7 p.m.
Michael Jr. has appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, Comedy Central, BET and in many other television forums. This family-friendly comedian regularly entertains at leading universities, comedy clubs and churches. Michael says: “If I’m in a club, my material has to be clean enough to work in a church. If I’m in a pulpit, it has to be funny enough to work in a club.”
UPDATE 4/1/09: The show has sold out.
Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased on the church Web site (www.lscckc.org) or at the church office during regular business hours (M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.). Tickets purchased online can be picked up the night of the event or at the office. The church is located at 1440 S.W. Jefferson.
