CHURCH SPONSORS SUMMITFEST COMMUNITY CELEBRATION

Lee’s Summit Community Church is sponsoring SummitFest, a community festival, on Saturday, Sept. 19. Last year, the church observed its 20th anniversary with a free outdoor celebration. This year, church members want to throw a party for the greater Lee’s Summit community. The outdoor event is on the church campus from 3-7 p.m. It will feature KC Wolf, live music from Red Guitar, food from local vendors and restaurants, inflatable bouncers, face painting, balloon animals, local public safety displays and games. Admission is free.
