HOUSTON MISSION TRIP
June 4 - 10, 2018
In August 2017, Hurricane Harvey, one of the most costly natural disasters in U.S. history, inundated the Houston area with unprecedented amounts of rainfall causing extensive flooding and storm damage. An estimated 32,000 people were displaced from their homes and FEMA is reporting there are over 410,000 people who have applied for disaster assistance.
Residents of these neighborhoods are now faced with the difficult task of rebuilding their homes and their lives, and many are forced to move forward without the help of insurance. We are going to Houston to help those who do not have the ability or resources to do this on their own.
Ready to sign up? There are two steps:

We will stay at the Family Life Center of Second Baptist Church’s North Campus (in Kingwood, TX) Monday night through Friday Night. Saturday Night accommodations will be in a hotel on our way back home.

If we have licensed skills in our group outside of these, they may have need in individual circumstances for those as well, just list that on your sign up with RTH. The skills that we list there will help match our group to the most appropriate houses.
