We were made to connect with others. We all want to know and be known. Here is some info to help you to connect with other women as you grow in your own faith.

Below is a listing of women’s groups. They will be starting up again in the fall. Questions about specific groups, feel free to contact the small group leader directly. Interested in joining a small group but have questions? Contact Small Groups Pastor, Patrick Hukriede or 816-524-6786.

Groups like these will be starting in the fall. Here are descriptions of what they have studied recently.

MOthers of PReschoolers (MOPS)

2nd & 4th Tuesday mornings starting in September, 9:30-11:30 am. MOPS is for moms who have kids ages newborn through Kindergarten. We meet to build circles of women who love each other like family because raising kids is beautiful and hard, yet having each other to lean on is life-giving. We connect moms to each other and to Jesus as we embrace the journey of motherhood. Registration is required before attending because of the popularity of our group and the limited child care space. Visit to learn about MOPS. Besides attending, women (and homeschool students) can help with child care or become a mentor mom to younger moms. To learn more or to see if space is available, contact Carrie at

MOthers of Elementary Kids (MOPS Next)

2nd & 4th Tuesday mornings starting in September, 9:30-11:30 am. As our children enter the school years, new challenges and issues arise, but the need for community and encouragement remains. MOPSnext is for moms of school-aged kids (K – 6) seeking fellowship, authentic community, practical help, and spiritual hope.” To learn more or to see if space is available, contact Carrie at
