VBS in Lee’s Summit

Looking for a fun week of kids activities this summer? Join us for FREE Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Lee’s Summit Community Church where your child, entering grade Kindergarten through 5th grade in fall 2024, will make friends, have fun, and learn about having a friendship with God!

WHAT TO EXPECT AT VBS AT LEE’S SUMMIT COMMUNITY CHURCH

Kids will take a deep dive into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At Scuba VBS, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about! 

Each day of VBS, kids will :

• Learn scripture and how to apply it to their lives

• Experience faith-building, sciency-fun activities together

• Worship through energetic song and dance

• Gain knowledge about need in our Lee’s Summit community and practical ways to help

• Enjoy daily snacks

• Meet new friends

• More!

After your child checks in, they’ll head up to the Worship Center for large group time (they will sit with their corresponding age group) where they’ll hear bible-based lessons about Jesus through video and skits, sing songs and be introduced to the concept/verse of the day. Your child’s group will be lead by a background-checked and friendly leader who stays with the group the entire day. You can meet them when you drop your child off! From there, they will break out with their age groups and go to various activities including engaging activities, mission lesson, and snacks. Kids will have the opportunity to learn about and make an impact on the Lee’s Summit community by learning from and bringing in supplies to donate to Coldwater of Lee’s Summit. We will close out each day with large group time back in the Worship Center for singing, lesson/verse recap and fun. You will pick your child up from the Worship Center. Feel free to come about 15 minutes prior to noon to watch closing and see for yourself what they learned and experienced that day!
