Lee’s Summit Community Church has a variety of community groups for men, women, co-ed, young adults, and all seasons of life, meeting at different times during the week all over Lee’s Summit and surrounding communities. Community groups include bible/book studies or weekly gatherings for dinner discussion about the Sunday’s message while building meaningful relationships with others. Our groups function as extended spiritual families encouraging each other to hear and follow the voice of Jesus in our everyday lives.

Community Groups
These groups meet in church members’ homes typically weekly or bi-weekly to eat together, pray for one another, study the Bible together, and grow in faith and relationship as they move through life together. Groups are typically made up of 8-12 people from any/all seasons of life.

Focused Community Groups
These groups are geared toward specific life stages and explore topics relevant to them. Relationships are formed around common experiences. Examples of focused community groups include Young Married Couples/Young Families Group, Young Adults Group, Single Moms Group, Legacy Group (senior adults), Men’s event group, Women’s event group, and accountability groups.

Bible Studies
These groups are made up of 8 to 12 people who are going over specific Bible studies for a short period of time (typically 3-4 months). These groups study books of the Bible or journey through topical studies. We have men’s, women’s, and co-ed Bible study groups.

Support Groups
We also have support groups designed for specified needs, challenges, and phases in life. For example, we periodically host Grief Share, a 13-week video series and support group for those grieving the death of a loved one. If you have a specific need or challenge, please reach out to our church to connect you to a relevant group.
