LSCC has partnered with the following organizations that share the commitment to serve people of our local community. We support these ministries both financially and through serving alongside them.


e3 leadership Group

Engaged in building bridges in Asia through healthy indigenous leader development which results in disciples-making-disciples and church planting to reach the unreached in Asia since 2005. From cross-cultural ministry in KC to short term missions, long term missionary placement, healthy leader development and pastoral care, e3lg endeavors to make Jesus’ last command of making disciples of all people groups our first priority.

Opportunities:

Local: Teach English language skills (training provided) through ESL, serve refugees in KC area through summer camp and serve team. Help support international students by hosting them for holidays or participating in monthly meet ups.

International: Go on a mission trip with a group of others to Nepal or Taiwan.

Provides a safe, confidential place for women and men to process through the pain and grief from past abortions.

Resource Health

Since 1992, Resource Health has provided a culture of care for those facing unplanned pregnancies. Offering a variety of pregnancy, sexual health, and education services at no cost.

Hillcrest Transitional Housing

Hillcrest’s primary objective is to move clients from homelessness to self-sufficiency by addressing the total life situation of the homeless families they serve.

Opportunities: For individuals and families: volunteer at the thrift store, help stock the food pantry, teach life skills classes, serve as budgeting counselor and help with childcare while parents attend classes.

Small group opportunity to support a resident during their 90-day stay in the apartment LSCC sponsors by restocking perishable goods before the resident moves in, encouraging the resident during their stay, and cleaning the apartment after they leave
