What is Worship?

At LSCC, we believe that worship is an essential commitment in taking steps to know and become like Jesus. We worship by submitting to God and becoming aligned to Jesus’ perspectives. When we submit to God, we humbly recognize and respond to the revelation of who He is and what He has done for us. As we are then aligning to the perspectives of Jesus, we are made new creations, and we can reflect his attitude and actions towards others.

While there is no adequate prescription for perfect worship, the disciplines of prayer and meditation, studying scripture, and gathering for corporate worship and teaching are helpful and much needed tools. But worship doesn’t end with a corporate gathering or a morning devotion. It extends to every aspect of our lives as we begin to see others as Jesus did - with love and compassion. We are transformed. And we will bear spiritual fruit, love God and others, serve and encourage one another, and do everything we do as if we were doing it for God.

If you are interested in being a part of our Sunday Morning Worship Services, we would love for you to join us!

LSCC Kids Choir

If you have a child in grades K-6, we have an opportunity for them to get involved in worship! The Kids' Choir is MUCH more than just singing. It also includes a devo time, small group connecting, and fun activities. The big idea is 3-fold: To teach kids how to experience God through worship, learn God’s Word, and develop community with other kids who are learning to follow after Jesus!
